Privacy

I collect only what you type into the forms on this site: your name, email and answers. The Long Game assessment also asks your sex, age and main sport, all optional, and your email (with your first name, if you like) to show your full result.

I use your details only to write to you personally about coaching, and to send the assessment's emails. I read every entry myself. I never sell your details, and I share them only as described here.

Your entries are stored with Supabase, my database provider, on a site hosted by Vercel. On the waitlist and the application, your unsent answers are saved only in your own browser until you send them, so you can pick up where you left off. The manifesto remembers where you stopped reading, in your own browser only; nothing about your reading is sent to me. The Long Game assessment keeps your results (the date and your step) in your own browser, so a retake can show your last step. It sends me your answers and your step, any sex, age and sport you choose to share, and your email if you ask for your full result.

When you give your email for your full result, your first name, email and step go to my mailing list at Mailchimp, my email provider. Mailchimp sends you the PDF on your step and two short follow-ups. Progression, my newsletter, comes only if you tick its box. Every email has a link to unsubscribe.

If I invite you to apply, I use Anthropic's Claude API to help me review your application. It receives your application answers and the “why now” answer from your waitlist entry, never your name or email. Anthropic doesn't train its models on them, though it may keep content it flags for misuse, or where the law requires it. The AI only suggests: I read every application myself and make every decision.

If you become a client, the onboarding pages also ask for your mailing address, so I can send you the occasional thank-you card, and whether I may share your posts and tag you on Instagram (birthday wishes, pictures, training updates, race results), with your username if so. The address is asked of every client; the Instagram question is optional. I post about you only if you say yes, and once saved, neither is shown on the onboarding page again.

This site does not use tracking cookies or analytics. The one exception is the video on the onboarding pages for new clients: it plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may set cookies once you play it.

If you use my update page, the mailing address, phone and email you give there go to my private client list, which keeps the details they replace so I can undo a mistake; the page itself never shows anything I have on file.
